Feel At Home

What is it about a rural church that helps people feel at home?

heavily marked book of john
Tattered and marked up: a VERY well-used Bible!

It’s the message.

The sermons at Great Plains Fellowship are always Biblical and relevant. Together, we look to the Bible for God’s word and how it STILL applies in our lives today…

  • People are still broken,
  • God is still God, and
  • We still need His guiding hand in our lives!

Our worship and commitment are not about theory, but how to really live out our faith in local circles we’re all connected to. We keep it simple, real, and faithful to the calling of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hands-on prayer for a new believer.

It’s our openness.

Great Plains Fellowship is non-denominational. We come from every background and all walks of life. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’ve been.

Dress code? No way!
From boots to suits, riding temperamental horses to loud iron horses, we know and FEEL that we all belong here. We share a love of the rural lifestyle and the great outdoors. We’re committed to helping one another grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ – not fretting about how someone looks on the outside.

Jammin' back in the day with Calvin Jones, Jim Doney, Frank Slaughter, and Beth Doney.

It’s our music.

The Great Plains Fellowship live praise band plays a joyful blend of both traditional hymns and contemporary Christian music that glorifies God and our Savior Jesus Christ. It’s about worshiping God – not light shows and fog machines!

If you’re familiar with Life88.5, Air1, or KLOVE, you already know some of the song styles we play.

There’s a casual freedom and spontaneity in our worship music, often reflecting humor -and some human failure- which we love to share with you and the Lord!

We look forward to meeting you, and celebrating our lives together in Jesus Christ — as we all work towards becoming the person God designed us to be!

Sunday service has been cancelled.

Due to weather conditions, Great Plains will not hold services Sunday January 25th.

Stay safe at home, fire up the ol' stove, and mix up some hot chocolate to enjoy as you read the Bible.
